Image deletion warning Image:Jean-Dubuffet-Four Trees.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.
In all cases, please do not take the deletion request personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

And what would be the problem with it? I took the picture myself. If you found it on FlickR under a different name, yes. I am the same person. What exactly is your problem with this, why do you just bang a deletion notice on? Please give a reason! --WiseWoman 06:40, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I placed my reasons on the deletion request page at the time that the deletion request was made. —JeremyA 22:52, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In Germany we put them both places so people can find them. I rather had to dig to find your comments. --84.189.2.219 21:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WiseWoman,

I'm sorry, voting closed at the end of the 24th January UTC, as per Commons:Picture of the Year/2007. --pfctdayelise (说什么?) 10:05, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh. It took forever to vote, as the E-Mail landed - of course - in my spam folder and I needed 2 days before I had time to deal with it. I actually feel disenfranchised, because it seemed that I did not get the email right away. Other Wiki letters come through fine, no idea what was wrong with this one. Spammers should have their hair and nails fall out until they quit spamming, so we can actually use e-mail. The notice that you had written came through fine.... Maybe write this on the page instead of just "Choose categories: <blank>" --WiseWoman 10:18, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
